water lodge

​This was a competition entry for a forest Water Lodge. The lodge would be located on a steep slope on a lakeside resort.

The building relates the surroundings by taking advantage of its steep slope and hides away amongst the surrounding trees. Access to the lodge is gained from the upper level.
The lakeside has an open view of the wider landscape and access is gained through the lower level if the guest is entering via boat.
